7 3/8” overall length with straight back dropped point wedge section blade. Whittle tang for embedding in a bone or wood hilt. Made without a cross guard. See Museum of London #BC72[79]<2425> for a similar example. At the time, virtually every man carried a knife such as this for protection in public.  Excavated and professionally conserved with Plexiglas display easel and certificate of authenticity.
