North European, of forged iron, over 7 ½” length. Elegantly shaped wedge section blade with rudimentary fuller to the left side. The back with low curve and recurved point. The base and tang made for imbedding in a wood, bone or antler grip without a guard. Relatively thin section made for fighting and not a work knife. True mid Gothic fighting knife. Professionally conserved on a Plexiglas display stand with certificate of authenticity.
