Smaller version of the type widely purchased by German soldiers as trench warfare evolved. Just 4 ½” overall with antler grip (the larger examples were mostly deer foot grip). Stepped brass bolster and wedge section blade with expanded thumb rest guard. The left side marked W CLAUBERG EST 1810 MUNICH GERMANY. Excellent uniform aging.
