See Ancient rings, Pollio, p.36, top for an identical example. The author explains that these are hand hammered, not cast. The photo credit for that example is an English auction house and assumed that these are of English Isles origin, Scotland or Ireland. This example is complete as found, textured from burial with the surface restored in 24karat gold for modern wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
