19th century. Large example, 17 ¼” length. All iron with a broad hollow point blade which separates upon squeezing the grips to reveal a further concealed blade within. Mechanically sound and functions well. Decorated in silver koftgari foliage in foliage and stylized foliage throughout. The decoration is very strong on the blades and weaker but still sound on the hilt.
