Cone piece of wood, 5 1/2" width with conical base, finely carved, not turned, finely incised with radial bands and cabled motif. Integral crescent form rest to the top, the ends carved in reeded and diced panels. Exceptional patina with red luster. The base with shrink crack. One terminal of the rest chipped and worn over from use. Original cord grip.
