Distinctly African made example of considerable age. 7" d.e. blade with crude double fullers and light tool finish, shown some spotty black staining and pitting toward the tip. One piece wood grip with flared pommel and base. The front set with trade tacks. Dark glossy patina. This example was probably owned by an Arab engaged in the slave trade.
