Made in Albacete. 6 3/4‰۝ elongated leaf shaped blade, iron cross guard and bone grip with conical brass ends decorated with annular bands. Barrel shaped bone grip with alternate brass inlay and incised bands. See Armas Blancas en Espa̱a, pl.11 right for a near identical example. Highly regarded and used throughout Spain, these are particularly associated with Basque Resistance during Spain's alliance with Napoleon, 1803-08.
