Gilt bronze, size 1 with 2.7mm ridged face band, thickened at the bottom in the Roman taste. The lenticular bezel cut with a saltire nesting three pairs of parallel marks. An exceptional quality ring in are small size suggesting either the child of a wealthy family or a woman who would have worn it on the small finger between the first two joints as was the custom. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
