Classic lancet as used before and through the Civil War, the blade base marked ROGERS CUTLERS TO HER MAJESTY/** SHEFFIELD ENGLAND. That address used 1890-1901 only. 5” long with delicate walnut grip and ridged spear point. Original papier mache case marked in gold ** JOSEPH ROGERS & SONS SHEFFIELD. Very minor aging only. Just about as new.
