Norway. Forged iron, just under 3 3/8" (3.37”) length with a leaf shaped point, ridged both sides. Tapered tang for securing to the shaft. Sound excavated condition. A flesh-cutting arrow is used for raiding where adversaries are caught without the protection of thick or reinforced garments. Examples of this type are now being discovered as the Norwegian glaciers melt and give up their secrets.
