Danelaw England. 3.2mm width with rounded face. Made with a central core to distribute the molten metal and heat. The core was then laboriously removed by hand with the remnants visible and tool marks. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom‰۪s sword. Solid silver and fine condition as found. It is estimated that only about 1 in 500 Viking wedding rings are solid silver. The vast majority were plated. Good wearable size. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
