Silver as rarely encountered. 1.09” height, fully detailed both sides. Formed as the crescent moon with the tips touching representing the unity of Sol the sun and Mani the moon. The enclosed pillar is typical and of spiritual significance, now lost. In later examples, after conversion to Christianity, it was depicted as the cross, combining pagan and Christian motifs. Silver, professionally cleaned only and mounted on a modern Sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
