VIKING FUNERARY AMULET 800-1050 AD

$235.00

Gilt bronze comprised of a circular ring suspending a stepped baluster column. That figure is frequently the central figure on lunar amulets but the significance is yet to be understood. (The 24karat gold surface is restored.) Mounted separately as here is unique to our experience and research. The suspension ring is common to burial amulets and the small top ring is modern to allow it to be worn on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain.  With certification of authenticity, and jewelry gift box.
