These accord specifically with Typology of Fire Starters from the Viking Age Norway (http://sagy.vikingove.cz/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Norwegian-fire-strikers.pdf) first example, which the author states "The most common type of Norwegian fire strikers, so-called Rygh 426" "almost one-third of all finds comes from the 10th century". This example is 2 3/8" in length and has excellent preservation.
