Forged iron just over 3" length. Elaborately detailed. Tapered striking bar with a base nub to anchor it in use. Curved terminal forming the finger stall and ending with a relief monster head. The top with a swivel loop for suspension from the belt. The curvilinear form is suggestive of the prow of the Viking long warship. Conserved sound excavated condition.
