Probably for a boy of about 8-10. Silvered bronze of heavy proportion with raised heart shaped bezel and 7.5mm ridged band. For Vikings, the heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the warrior. It is said that Hrungnir, with whom Thor dueled (assisted by a sorceress), had a heart of stone. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
