Forged iron in two pieces, Each with spatulate terminal grip. The base with scroll hinge decorated in silver koftgari. The upper with curved cutting edge below silver inscription panels. Profuse and delicate silver decoration to the upper blade and grip. Betel nut chewing and sharing is deeply ingrained in the culture of Burma. It is sold in the streets with over 60% of the population as regular users. This betel nut cuter is the finest we have seen with superior and delicate silver embellishment. It is preserved with all the silver intact and in uniform fine quality and condition.
