Probably WWII or Cold War era though we were not able to trace the owner. Standard pattern with 30” blade decorated with eagle, fouled anchor, and other naval and patriotic motifs. Owner’s name in panel to the forte. Pierced hilt with wire wrapped ray skin grip and original bullion sword knot. Leather scabbard and fine black leather waist belt with gilt buckle and leather hangers. Excellent throughout with light wear to the hilt and scabbard mounts as expected.
