Pattern specified for all general officers. This example dates about mid 20th century (1950’s). Plated hilt. Blade and scabbard. The 31: blade decorated 2/3 its length with foliage, military trophies, eagle, US and blank panel for the officer’s name. Inset brass proof to the ricasso with N S MEYER retailer’s name opposite. A fine vintage example preserved in virtually as new condition.
