18th/19th century. 20 1/2" slightly curved d.e. broad fullered blade shows stable brown patina with light to medium rusting, evidently in light preservative and showing a few small islands a little heavier at the point. Well carved dark wood grip with lobed terminal and carved petal band. Plain iron base ferrule. Matching hardwood scabbard with figured throat (end chipped/splintered for about 3/4"). Grip with single crack along the back. Well used condition.
