Type made in Albacete. 7 1/8” elongated leaf shaped blade, iron cross guard and bone grip with banded conical brass ends. The bone with small chips and the blade tip pitted. See Armas Blancas en España, pl.11 right for a near identical example. Highly regarded and used throughout Spain, these are particularly associated with Basque Resistance during Spain's alliance with Napoleon, 1803-08.
