Forged iron, 6 3/8” length. Wedge section blade with an elegantly clipped point, the distinctive feature of these fighting knives. Tapered whittle tang for mounting to a bone or wood grip. Exceptional preservation with both sides retaining the majority of their original surfaces. Dating to the Viking Era when England was divided between the Saxons and Vikings which precipitated numerous armed conflicts. With Plexiglas display mount and certificate of authenticity.
