3.8mm rounded face band, flaring to the shoulders. Oval bezel which could be engraved and serving as a signet, (which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters) now vacant. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius). Surface finely preserved. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare wearable size.
