Gilt bronze, size 11 with 3.2mm rounded face and. The shoulders with triple pellet clusters or trefoils. Type 4 by the Guiraud system. See Ancient Rings, Polio, p.60. Raised cylindrical bezel with crenulated border and well defined image of a lion or similar mythological beast beneath the crescent moon. Excellent preservation for the period with 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
