4 1/4” length, forged iron with elongated pyramidal point with notched base on tapered tang. Type developed to defeat the iron chain mail of the Celts as Romans expanded into northern Europe and the precursor of the Medieval bodkin arrow used for the same purpose.  Excellent excavated condition.
