Gilt bronze, rare large size 11 ¼ with 2.4mm low rounded face band and high inverted conical bezel cut with a figure of a hare below angled lines. The hare was a symbol of fertility and love tied to Venus (the Roman counterpart of Aphrodite) and Cupid (Eros). Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift box with certificate of authenticity.
