6” wedge section curved blade with short tapered tang for mounting in a bronze hilt. The short tang length pereculdes mounting in a softer material such as bone or wood. Excellent condition for the period with about 80% original surface remaining. The angle of the tang identifies this as a slashing weapon for overhand use. The near new condition edge formed by the wedge section specifically identifies this as a weapon and not a work knife which would have evidence of sharpening.
