10th-11th century AD. Silvered bronze, size 7 1/4,  3.1mm width, with low rounded face and of somewhat varying thickness owing to hand work. Surface very lightly textured from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Good wearable size.
