Drum form, 3 1/2" length. Cylindrical case with key hole to the end for spring compression key. U shaped shackle encased above the drum and united with the sliding spring mechanism. Surface with stable heavy rust from burial but complete. The mechanism frozen. Vikings captured, sold and kept slaves. Portable locks such as this were used for the transport of slaves to market
