Gilt bronze. A little over 5/8" in height. Flat form pierced with a heart in the center. The outside is of cusped form then the inside pierced with a cusped heart, the sup formed by a trefoil. Combining two favorite Viking forms and making a heart within a heart! Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Textured from burial and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored and suspended from a gilt neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity
