7 7/8” rounded medially ridged spear point blade with flared bolster showing deep pattern welded grain, perhaps meteor iron. Wood phalliform hilt with flared base forming a guard. Radially fluted pommel. The grip with shingled central panel each side. Radial floral carved base. Matching wood sheath carved with an abstracted foliate panel to the front. The back inscribed PASANSONGEN in large letters. The scabbard tip with an integral fin as found on military sword leather sheath and dating the mounts to the 19th century. The blade likely centuries earlier.
