RARE COPPER VIKING WEDDING RING 900-1050 AD SIZE 7 1/2

$125.00

Size 7 1/2. Broad 5.3mm width band, with rounded edge near-flat face.  Mottled red/brown patina with some patches of green oxidation as found. Now with an industrial sealant overall. Vikings were expert metallurgists. The use of pure copper is rare and suggests a supernatural significance as alloys were much more durable. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
