See Oldman, Cat.28, #18. 44 1/2" length. Carved of one piece of hardwood with braided sennit band wrapped grip over annular expansion. Slightly tapered shaft and shaped head with sharp edged striking ring and conical thrusting point. Four double bands of incised decoration. Head flange with some chips from its working life slightly worn over. Dark patina and surface encrustation throughout. The sennit wrap extensive and sound.
