The Christian dagger of iconic form with deeply curved edge 11" blade. Craved wood hilt with stylized flower bud form pommel. The grip with stipple foliate pattern. Matching motif to the tip and throat of the wood scabbard.  Integral pierced stud with original; plant fiber shoulder cord. Fine uniform age patina with light wear and slight glossy patina to the wood. Blade with original tool finish.
