Spherical, just over 2" diameter. The body made from hide with the hair on (remnants at the spout) evidently stretched over a gourd. Original stopper with central hole to be strung on the suspension cord to prevent loss in battle. The shape a perfect match for the muzzle of the Turkish blunderbuss for which this would provide a single charge very quickly. Great age character.
