57” total length. Cylindrical handle with ringed brass butt. The surface in three ranks of lineal bands of fine wood and bone inlay in the Turkish taste. Together comprising thousands of individual pieces with just a couple strictly minor blemishes. Braided whip with double tongue shows minor surface degradation/discoloration only. Turkish warriors relied on agility combined with expert horsemanship in battle. They sacrificed protection (armor) for agility and relied on their mounts which they were able to control with commands, body movement and the quirt.
