John Somers, 1st Baron Somers (1651–1716) was a prominent English Whig statesman, lawyer, and judge who served as Lord High Chancellor of England from 1697 to 1700 under King William III.  C.1830’s, engraved by T A Dean. Professionally matted to 8” x 10” for an off the shelf frame from Michael’s, Walmart etc. Genuine 18th century original.
