71 ½” length. Iron head with medially ridged point on scalloped bottom cross guard. Integral cheek straps secured with pairs of nails. The wood haft originally longer with offset base cut for reattachment after shipping. The remainder of the haft, no longer with it but the spliced joint allows for easy restoration if desired. Probably served one of the smaller states which were ultimately united into Imperial Germany in the 19th century.
