Ex: John Woodman Higgine Armory Museum with identification number to the back. For the right shin. 13” length, finely formed with slightly arched medial ridge in excellent polish. The reverse with uniform hammer texture from forging. The edges with six rivets for securing to the main on cloth base which would have encircled the calf, The upper rivet with gusset and remnants of securing leather. Quite crisp with mottled gray patina. Very rare.
