Good old precolonial example with 9 ¼” well forged blade. Shaped wood hilt with brass mounts including pierced pommel crest and base mount. Brass scabbard, the face with engraved sheet silver. Side lugs with large suspension rings. Well and honestly used throughout. Wear with some solder reinforcing. The hilt base with two old cracks secured with scrolling brass inlays. Great age character and dating to the 19th century (probably mid) before colonial ambitions.
