MEDIEVAL SORCERER’S AMULET, 9TH-12TH CENTURY

$225.00
The period of conversion from Paganism which disenfranchised sorcerers. Accordingly, they practiced clandestinely. Handcrafted provincially. 0.43” diameter engraved with a saltire across which runs a hatched bar. The saltire was a well-recognized Christian symbol and the intent of surcharging it with a broad bar is unmistakable. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
