Silvered bronze, about 2 3/8" in height plus the suspension loop. The cross beam is centered and the beam terminals are crossed and rounded. That feature was later adopted as the Jerusalem cross with the crutches form in five crosses in one, representing the five wounds of Christ. Inscribed with expanded terminal incised cross. Rounded section with the back hollow for the inclusion of a holy relic like a hair of a saint or splinter of the cross. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver surface restored, on a modern Sterling silver 18” neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
