14th-15th century. Lead cylinder about 5/8” diameter with flattened or depressed ends forming a sharp edge. Used both on the battlefield and in siege warfare. Found in Bavaria (Lautertal Valley) in the 1980s and mounted with original brown ink label SCHLEUDERBLEI 14/15 Jh. From the metal detector finds of the 1980s now all but dried up on the market.
