Gilt bronze, size 10 with 3.2mm near flat faced band. Raised oval bezel stepped above a scalloped base. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.102. Probably the ring of a merchant or other middle class man. Excellent preservation with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
