Gilt bronze, 1” (0.02”) height plus the large hinged suspension ring. The cross beam slightly below center. Both beams flared to the terminals and with a central incised cross. The back hollow to include a holy relic like a piece of the actual cross or hair of a saint. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Delicate form.
