Gothic period, C1200-1300 the period of the Crusades. Just under 1 ½” height plus the suspension loop. The beams flared from the center in Maltese cross fashion. The beam terminals in trefoils, representing the “crutches” of the Jerusalem Cross of the Crusades and making five crosses in one! The cross beam above center. Excellent preservation, with the silver surface restored, on an 18” Sterling silver mounted polished leather neck cord for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
