Period of the Crusades. Silvered bronze, over 1” (1.06”) including the suspension loop. Thick symmetrical form with flared beam tips as with the Maltese cross and crusader’s crossed. The beam tips defining a circle as with the Crusader’s cross such as our B1395. The cross of a pilgrim or, more likely a crusader, later in the interval. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on an 18” sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
