Forged iron, 5 ¼” length. The curved end with triangular barb, the opposite with a flattened lug below which the line was tied. That feature is universal before pierced eyes were used. Sound excavate condition. Size capable of catching the largest fish such as tuna which sustained Vikings at sea.
