15th-16th century AD. Women's, a little over size 5 ¼.  3.2mm width band with a rounded face, flared to the shoulders. Raised oval bezel engraved with foliate spray, transversely oriented. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.126 bottom. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
